ABOUT US

CC Farm is a family-operated program established in 2003, focused on producing registered Percherons, registered Percheron crosses, Foundation Quarter Horses, and Colorado Ranger Horses. Our program is built on developing versatile, sound-minded horses with strong pedigrees and real-world usability.

At CC Farm, we breed and create the horses we want to ride ourselves-not just horses to sell, but horses to keep, show, and raise our family on. Our entire family rides and shows our stock, ensuring each horse reflects the kind of temperament, ability, and reliability we stand behind. Our horses are raised with purpose and proven through performance both in and out of the arena. Every horse we produce is given direction early on, whether that be in the show pen, out on the trail, or in everyday work, allowing them to go on and succeed in a wide variety of programs.

It’s important to note that while we are deeply involved in the show world, our program is equally rooted at home-raising foals, raising children, and developing horses daily. Because of this, our horses are proven under real-life conditions and limited showing schedules, making their accomplishments a true reflection of their natural ability, temperament, and consistency. They are just as dependable as family and youth horses as they are competitive performance horses-often transitioning from the trail, to the show pen, to youth riders with ease.

Our specialty- and the cornerstone of our program- lies in the development of Registered Percherons under saddle. With years of experience training, showing, and producing registered Percherons for riding, our program has successfully developed horses competing across disciplines including ranch work, hunt seat, western pleasure, eventing, dressage, jumping, mountain trail competitions, law enforcement horses, and so much more. From local and state champions to versatility buckle winners and world-level competitors, our Percherons are known for their outstanding ability, athleticism, fantastic temperaments and willingness. The Percherons are the foundation of our program and something we are deeply committed to continuing and advancing.

Our Percheron crossbred program builds directly on that foundation. Many of our crosses come from generations of Percherons we have bred, raised, and known for multiple generations- some two and three deep within our own program, and with lineage we have followed for four and five generations. By blending these proven Percheron lines, we consistently produce Percheron Crosses that combine power, athleticism, and exceptional minds. These crosses have gone on to become versatility buckle winners, national champions, and Horse of the Year recipients, while also excelling across disciplines including dressage, eventing, hunter/jumper, ranch and versatility classes, mounted trail competitions, team penning, roping and so much more. Outside of the show ring, some have served as pony horses at the racetrack, pickup horses at rodeos, law enforcement horses, family horses and dependable ranch work partners. They are the definition of a true using horse-capable, versatile, and reliable- while still possessing the presence and movement to stand out in the show ring.

Our Quarter Horse program is built around preserving and utilizing strong foundation bloodlines. With influential names carried closer in the pedigree, our horses maintain the grit, heart, and usability the breed was built on, while still being competitive in the modern show world. Our Quarter Horses have earned success across a wide range of platforms, including AQHA point earners, all-around and year-end champions, AQHA World Show qualifiers, NBHA World Show qualifiers in both youth and open divisions, and IBRA champions, money earners, jackpot winners and buckle winners. Beyond the arena, they have proven themselves in ranch work, roping, and even fox hunting- demonstrating the same level of reliability and versatility in real-world applications as they do in competition.

We strive to produce horses that are powerful, capable, and born with the kind of heart that doesn’t quit- horses that can step into multiple roles, from high-level performance to trusted family partners.

In addition to our established program, we are proud to be expanding into Colorado Ranger Horses, a direction inspired directly by my daughter. These horses have proven to be a natural fit, aligning seamlessly with our focus on temperament, versatility, and real-world usability. With pedigrees rich in history, including Hall of Fame and foundation bloodlines, our Ranger Horses are more than just color- they represent genetic strength, conformation, intelligence, and durability. Already producing national champions, this program is one we are excited to continue developing. Originally bred to preserve and promote the foundation using horse of the high plains, Colorado Ranger Horses are known for their stamina, willingness, and strong work ethic- making them an ideal addition to our operation.

At the core of CC Farm is a simple belief- a good horse is more than just a pedigree, it’s a partner. From our family to yours, we stand behind the horses we produce because we trust them in our own barn first.

Our brand- CC within a crown. As a first-generation horsewoman, this program was built from the ground up through years of hard work, long days, and a commitment to doing things the right way. The crown was never meant to represent royalty- it was created to represent legacy. Every horse we raise carries that brand as a symbol of where they come from and what they stand for. It reflects the intention to build something meaningful, something lasting, and something worth passing down. Today, that vision is already taking shape as the next generation steps into the saddle, carrying forward the same values, work ethic, and love for the horse. Our hope is simple- that the CC Farm name and the horses behind it will continue to stand the test of time for years to come.

We typically have a selection of young horses available, including prospects, started horses, and upcoming foals. Our program produces foals each year, and availability may include weanlings, yearlings, two-year-olds, and select started three-year-olds.
